The Macosel is a natural clear 3mm MDF board that is cut to the requested size in inches for framing purposes. The photo is printed using a professional-grade photographic process on silver halide paper and then mounted onto the Macosel using double-sided adhesive. Please note that this product is not designed to print directly onto the Macosel. The Macosel acts as a base for the photo to be mounted onto, allowing for a professional and elegant finish.
As this product is a preliminary step for framing, please note that there may not be a perfect flush mount of the photo onto the Macosel. The Macosel is not a finished product, but rather a preparation for framing.
To avoid any visual problems with framing, please note that the frame strip has a 7mm lip that will be hidden to avoid obscuring any text, logos, or other important visual elements. As the production of the product may result in a non-perfect mount flush to the Macosel, it may be hidden inside the finished frame.
You may request the product without any finish for use with a glass frame, but we recommend adding a protective layer of cold lamination with various textures. This layer will protect the product for years to come while enhancing the photo with the same finish.

This service is exclusively recommended for advertising projects requiring multiple reproductions of a large format image. It is crucial to achieve a very specific color target, such as Ferrari Red or Coca-Cola Red, or to reach a shade of orange similar to Fanta
In this case:
- Request the printed target of our professional production and calibrate your monitor accordingly
- Ask for the specific ICC profile of the surface you intend to use for printing
- Prepare your file in JPEG format and embed the ICC profile
- Simulate the color by applying the profile in Photoshop with your monitor and make any necessary color adjustments
